Dhamar: A meeting of residents from Dhamar District, chaired by Governor Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, was held on Saturday to discuss preparations for commemorating the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by Member of Parliament Najib Al-Warqi, Shura Council member Hassan Abdulrazaq, along with local sheikhs and community leaders. Governor Al-Bukhaiti highlighted the significance of celebrating the Prophet's birthday as a unifying religious occasion for the Islamic nation, honoring its leader, teacher, and role model.
He also addressed the ongoing tragedy in Gaza and the crimes committed by the Zionist entity and the U.S., pointing to the current weakness, division, and subordination facing the Islamic nation. He stressed that adherence to the Prophet's teachings and the values of his message strengthens the nation, shields it from enemy conspiracies, and restores its dignity and strength.
The governor emphasized the importance of connecting with the Holy Qur'an and embodying its principles to promote brotherhood, cooperation, compassion, and unity while rejecting causes of division. He also praised the role of Dhamar's residents in defending the homeland and their active engagement in preparatory events.
Governor Al-Bukhaiti called on everyone to participate in commemorating the Prophet's birthday and to mobilize for the success of the central event in a manner that reflects the greatness and status of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, his family, and that frustrates the enemies.
