Preparatory Workshop for University Cultural Requirements Instructors Conducted at Sana’a University

Sana'a: The Higher Education Sector, in collaboration with Sana'a University, organized a preparatory workshop on Tuesday aimed at instructors teaching university cultural requirement courses. The event focused on enhancing teaching skills and methods to better convey concepts and information to students.

According to Yemen News Agency, Minister of Education, Scientific Research, and Higher Education Hassan Al-Saadi addressed the gathering, emphasizing the necessity for instructors to adopt modern teaching techniques. He underscored the importance of engaging students with persuasive and influential approaches that highlight the practical applications of course content in their personal and professional development.

Deputy Minister for Higher Education Dr. Ibrahim Luqman added to the discussion by stressing the significance of standardizing teaching mechanisms and curricula. He advocated for the implementation of revised study plans and equitable distribution of teaching assignments across both public and private universities.

Sana'a University President Dr. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti pointed out the critical role cultural requirement instructors play in fostering values, ethics, and positive behaviors among students. He highlighted the need for instructors to stay abreast of modern educational methods and technologies.

The workshop included presentations and guidance from university officials on diverse instructional strategies. These sessions aimed to link course content with contemporary realities and utilize modern educational technologies to boost student engagement and learning outcomes.
