Sana'a: President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Thursday condemned the American threat against the Islamic Republic of Iran, stressing that Tehran has the full right to defend its sovereignty.
According to Yemen News Agency, President al-Mashat stated, "We condemn and denounce the threat we hear from American officials from time to time against Iran." He questioned the basis of America's threats, asking, "What is America basing its threats on, and what international law authorizes its officials to use this language and interfere in the sovereignty of states?"
The President emphasized that Iran has the full right to defend its sovereignty by all legitimate means, declaring support for this right.
