Bayda: Cultural symposia and speech events were held on Thursday in the al-Arsh and al-Qurshiyah districts of Bayda governorate to commemorate the Day of al-Wilayah 1446 AH. The events aimed to strengthen the connection to Imam Ali and reinforce the values of al-Wilayah while consolidating the faith identity of the community.
According to Yemen News Agency, the symposium in al-Arsh was attended by province undersecretary Ahmed al-Sayqal. Key speeches focused on the importance of Imam Ali's teachings, his jihadist stances, and his courage against Jews, Christians, and oppressors in advocating for truth. The speakers also highlighted the historical support of Yemenis for the Prophet and Imam Ali in confronting global arrogance and backing the Palestinian resistance.
In the al-Qurayshiyah district, the event saw the attendance of Guidance Sector Head Ahmed al-Hamzi along with mobilization officials. The focus of the speeches was on commemorating al-Wilayah to emulate Imam Ali's morals and courage. Speakers emphasized the necessity of sincere allegiance and opposition to Jews and Christians, explaining that allegiance to Imam Ali and "beacons of guidance" is the divine path to protect the nation from misguidance and subservience.
The discussions also attributed Yemeni achievements against America and Israel and support for Gaza to their allegiance to Imam Ali and "beacons of guidance." This allegiance was contrasted with what was described as the "humiliation and dependence" of the Islamic nation due to its failure to adhere to divine directives.
