Sanaa: President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat sent a cable of condolences on Tuesday following the death of Yousef Ahsan Abdullah al-Daw, who passed away at the age of 95.
According to Yemen News Agency, President al-Mashat addressed his condolences to the sons of the deceased, Salah and Abdulwahab, as well as to all members of the al-Daw family. In his message, he acknowledged the significant contributions of Yousef Ahsan al-Daw in the realms of jihadist mobilization, societal awareness, and his efforts in promoting reconciliation and the values of tolerance and solidarity within the community.
President al-Mashat highlighted the deceased's well-known patriotic stances and his influential role in fostering unity and understanding among people. He conveyed his deep sympathies to the family during this difficult time, praying for divine mercy and forgiveness for Yousef Ahsan al-Daw and hoping for patience and comfort for his loved ones.
