Sana’a: His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, sent a cable of condolences and sympathy on the passing of Mujahid Ahmed Mohammed Nasser Al-Af’ad, who dedicated his life to serving the nation.
According to Yemen News Agency, the message was sent to the deceased’s son, Abdulqader, and his brothers, Abdulrahman and Abdulrab Nasser Al-Af’ad. The President praised the late mujahid’s virtues and contributions to his country and community, as well as his role in confronting the U.S.-Saudi aggression.
President Al-Mashat expressed his heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy to the deceased’s son, brothers, all family members, and the Al-Af’ad tribe in Maran, Haydan District, Sa’ada Governorate. He prayed that Almighty God bestows His vast mercy upon the departed soul, grants him eternal rest in paradise, and gives his family patience and solace.
The President concluded his message with the phrase, ‘Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.’
