President Al-Mashat Offers Condolences on Passing of Supreme Elections Committee Head

Sana'a: President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Monday sent a cable of condolences on the death of Head of the Supreme Elections and Referendum Committee Judge Mohammed Abdullah al-Salemi after a life dedicated to serving his country.

According to Yemen News Agency, in the cable sent to the deceased's family members and his colleagues, President al-Mashat praised the virtues of the late judge and his contributions to serving the nation in the various positions he held, most recently as head of the Supreme Elections Committee.

He noted that the deceased was an exemplary judge, a diligent scholar, and dedicated to all the tasks and responsibilities entrusted to him, commending his honorable national stances in confronting the American-Saudi aggression.

President al-Mashat expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the sons of the deceased, his family members, and all al-Salemi family on this tragedy, asking Allah Almighty to grant him abundant mercy and forgiveness, to place him in His spacious Paradise, and to inspire his family and relatives with patience and solace.
