Sana'a: His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, has issued a stern warning to aggression countries and their militias against any attempts to undermine the unity of Yemen. He affirmed the continuation of jihad until every inch of the republic's territory is liberated and expressed readiness to face any upcoming American or Zionist aggression.
According to Yemen News Agency, President Al Mashat delivered a speech to the Yemeni people on the occasion of the thirty-sixth anniversary of the establishment of a united Yemen. He emphasized the importance of viewing this occasion as a time to revive the values of brotherhood and love, rejecting hatred, and maintaining a unified faith identity. He urged Yemenis not to let political differences lead them away from their unifying identity or allow destructive ideas to affect their unity.
Al Mashat highlighted that Yemeni unity is a supreme national interest for all citizens, emphasizing that what unites Yemenis-faith, identity, creed, language, history, and shared destiny-is a firm foundation. He pointed out that division during dark periods of occupation was merely an exception that contradicted the logic of geography and violated the spirit of unity.
He described the current aggression by American-Saudi forces as a desperate attempt to divide the homeland, tear apart the Yemeni body, and stir internal conflicts. This aggression, he said, aims to facilitate the looting of Yemen's wealth and subjugate its will. Al Mashat reiterated his call for unity, urging those who may be tempted by narrow calculations to return to the line of unity, emphasizing that defending unity is integral to the national battle for independence and sovereignty.
He also addressed Arab and Islamic nations, stressing the importance of aligning ranks to confront aggression. He called on governments not to be tools in the hands of enemies against their own people and to avoid allowing their lands and airspace to be used in aggression against regional peoples.
President Al Mashat expressed full solidarity with Iran, affirming its right to defend itself and manage the Strait of Hormuz. He also renewed support for Palestinian and Lebanese brothers, condemning Zionist actions and urging Arab and Islamic governments to work swiftly to end Zionist criminality.
In his message, Al Mashat condemned the normalization of relations by Somaliland with the Zionist enemy, warning of the threat it poses to Yemen and the region. He also denounced the burning of the Holy Quran by an American criminal, calling for a boycott of countries that condone such actions.
He concluded by reaffirming the commitment to Yemeni unity and the ongoing struggle for justice, dignity, and development, urging a collective effort to stand against internal conflicts and external aggression.
