Dhamar: The President of the Judicial Inspection Authority, Judge Dr. Marwan Al-Mahqari, inspected today the workflow at the Court of Appeal and its affiliated courts in Dhamar Governorate. During the visit, he met with the President of the Court of Appeal, Judge Mujahid Al-Amadi, the President of the Appeal Prosecution, Judge Anan Al-Sultan, along with several judges. Discussions focused on strengthening discipline, expediting stalled cases, enforcing judicial rulings, and addressing challenges hindering judicial performance.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Mahqari reviewed the courtrooms, information centers, archives, and clerical departments at the Court of Appeal and its chambers, in addition to the East and West Dhamar primary courts, the Traffic Court, and the Criminal Court. He also listened to briefings on workflow and procedures related to case processing and services provided to litigants.
He emphasized that this visit falls within the Authority's efforts to monitor judicial performance, identify needs, and support all measures aimed at improving operations. He confirmed the Authority's continued support for judges and staff in their pursuit of prompt and fair justice.
The President of the Judicial Inspection Authority highlighted that cooperation is essential for accelerating case resolution and facilitating procedures for citizens. He stressed that discipline is the cornerstone of successful judicial work, noting that judges' and employees' commitment to time and procedure enhances public confidence in the justice system.
He reiterated that speeding up case resolution is one of the Authority's top priorities, explaining that delays harm litigants' rights and negatively affect the reputation of the judiciary.
Judge Al-Mahqari also stressed the need to quickly adjudicate cases involving detainees, enforce rulings to safeguard rights, simplify procedures, and make justice more accessible to citizens in ways that reduce their hardship.
