Presidents of Ibb and Al Bayda Universities Oversee Medical Students’ Clinical Exams

Sana'a: Ibb University President Dr. Nasr Al-Hujaili and Al Bayda University President Dr. Ahmed Al-Arami inspected the clinical examinations for third-batch students of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences in general surgery. The two officials reviewed the examination process being conducted at the General Surgery Department of Al-Thawra General Hospital Authority. The exams, supervised by academics and consultants from universities and health institutions, will continue for three days as part of the final assessment of students' clinical and diagnostic skills.

According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Hujaili emphasized that clinical examinations are a key stage in preparing medical professionals, as they assess students' ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings and deal directly with patients according to scientific and professional standards. For his part, Dr. Al-Arami stated that the examinations help bridge the gap between theory and practice, contributing to the preparation of competent physicians capable of handling various clinical challenges.

Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Ibb University, Dr. Bashir Mahyoub, explained that the examinations were designed to evaluate students across six different clinical stations, ensuring an accurate assessment of their practical skills.
