Al-mahwit: Male and female students from schools in Al-Mahwit City District organized today massive student rallies under the slogan "Readiness and Mobilization... to End the Aggression and Siege," affirming their steadfast stance in confronting aggression.
According to Yemen News Agency, the students raised banners and placards expressing readiness and preparedness to face challenges, their adherence to national and religious constants, their support for the just causes of the nation-foremost among them the Palestinian cause-and their backing of peoples' rights to freedom and independence, rejecting projects of hegemony and arrogance.
Speeches delivered at the rallies stressed the importance of raising awareness among the youth and younger generations, consolidating the values of steadfastness, dignity, and honor, and drawing lessons from the sacrifices of martyrs and those stationed on the frontlines in defense of religion, the homeland, and national sovereignty.
They pointed out that members of the educational sector represent a fundamental pillar in building societal awareness and reinforcing faith-based and national identity, contributing to preparing a generation aware of the nation's issues and capable of shouldering its responsibilities towards its homeland and community.
The rally participants renewed their affirmation of continuing steadfastness and readiness to bear responsibility in facing challenges, until victory is achieved and the effects of aggression and siege are removed.
They emphasized that the Yemeni people will remain committed to the choices of dignity, honor, and independence, defending their sovereignty and legitimate rights no matter how great the challenges.
They declared their support for all steps and measures aimed at protecting the homeland and enhancing its security and stability, and their readiness to participate in various national activities and programs that contribute to strengthening national solidarity and consolidating the culture of steadfastness and resilience in the face of challenges.
