Prisoners’ Conditions in Raymah to Release Eligible Individuals on Occasion of Prophet’s Birthday Inspected

Raymah: A joint committee from the Presidency and the Public Prosecution in Raymah governorate inspected on Monday the conditions of prisoners at the Central Prison. During the visit, the committee, which included the Head of the Public Prosecution, Judge Abdulghani al-Barkani, and the Head of the Governorate's Grievances Redress Authority branch, Sadiq al-Ahdal, listened to the prisoners and directed the release of those who had served three-quarters of their legal sentences.

According to Yemen News Agency, the committee indicated that the field visit comes in implementation of the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the President of the Supreme Political Council, and the Attorney General, on the occasion of the Prophet's Birthday, to release eligible individuals.

The committee called on businessmen and philanthropists to assist indigent prisoners by paying their outstanding debts to others, thus contributing to their release and reintegration into society.
