Anss district: The football tournament for the 1448 AH Prophet's Birthday Cup kicked off on Tuesday in Anss District, Dhamar Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the tournament is organized by the district branch of the Youth and Sports Office with support from the Youth and Sports Welfare Fund, under the supervision of the governorate's Youth and Sports Office. Eight teams are competing, divided into two groups. Group One includes Al-Talabi, Al-Wasita, Al-Majd, and Al-Arabi, while Group Two comprises Beit Al-Kumani, Al-Shaqib, the Government Complex, and Marsaba.
In the opening match, attended by District Director Ahmed Al-Masqari and Youth Office Branch Director Najeeb Issa, Al-Talabi secured a 3-1 victory over Al-Wasita in Group One.
