Sana'a: Senior officials from the Ministry of Economy and Industry, the General Authority for Endowments, and the Investment Authority conducted field visits on Thursday to inspect several proposed sites for the establishment of new industrial zones in Sana'a Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the delegation toured sites in the districts of Sanhan, Bani Bahlul, Bilad al-Rus, and Bani Matar. The visits aimed to evaluate the suitability of these locations for industrial use before finalizing engineering blueprints. Officials emphasized that once the sites are approved, infrastructure plans will be drafted to align with the specific industrial needs of each area.
The Undersecretaries stressed the importance of rapid reporting on studies that enhance industrial infrastructure and basic public services. They called for seamless coordination between the General Authority for Lands and the Endowments Authority to finalize total area measurements and site mapping, ensuring that priority projects meeting legal conditions can move forward immediately.
