Sana'a: The Prosecutor General's Office in the capital Sana'a concluded the ninth training session of its program on the fundamentals of investigation, decision-making, and enforcement in criminal cases, with the participation of 25 prosecutors from the primary prosecution offices in Taiz and Ibb provinces. The three-day course, organized by the Training and Qualification Department, focused on strengthening prosecutors' legal knowledge and procedural skills.
According to Yemen News Agency, First Public Prosecutor Judge Abdulkarim al-Shami stressed the importance of continuous legal development, noting that judicial work directly affects people's lives and requires integrity, responsibility, and impartiality. He urged participants to uphold justice, resist external pressures, thoroughly review complaints, and ensure that release or detention decisions are based strictly on case evidence.
He also highlighted the need for proper legal classification of cases, fair listening to all parties, and firm enforcement of judgments, especially in criminal cases. Head of the Training and Qualification Department Dr. Khaled al-Jamrah emphasized the continued rollout of the training program for graduates of the Criminal Sciences Diploma and praised the support of the Prosecutor General and program instructors.
