Sanaa: The mobilization in Al Thawra District of the Capital Secretariat Sanaa organized a massive armed protest in northern Al Hasabah neighborhood, commemorating the anniversary of the Tanumah massacre in which thousands of Yemeni pilgrims were killed in the year 1341 AH, while affirming the continuation of general mobilization and confrontation with what they described as the forces of global arrogance.
According to Yemen News Agency, officials and public figures participated in the protest, and the participants chanted slogans denouncing the Saudi regime, considering that the Tanumah massacre and subsequent events reveal the "crimes of Al Saud" against Yemenis. They also affirmed their readiness to support what they called the axis of resistance, and renewed their allegiance to the leader of the Ansar Allah group, Abdulmalik Al Houthi.
The statement of the protest addressed developments in the situation in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria, condemning Israeli military operations, and affirming the continuation of Yemen's supportive position for the Palestinians, Hezbollah, and Iran. It also praised Hezbollah's operations against Israel and rejected what it described as the "mercenary government" granting a mandate to Saudi Arabia to dispose of Yemen's wealth.
The statement called for confronting the "soft war" by reducing dowries and marriage costs, and establishing community controls to regulate that in accordance with the teachings of Islam.
