Public Roads and Bridges Corporation Commemorates Annual “Cry Against the Arrogant” Event

General

Sanaa: The Public Roads and Bridges Corporation organized on Wednesday a speech event in observance of the annual "Cry Against the Arrogant" (al-Sarkha) anniversary. During the event, Engineer Abdulrahman al-Hadrami, Chairman of the Corporation, highlighted the significance of commemorating the annual cry and its profound impact, noting the positive results it has brought to the life of the nation.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Hadrami emphasized the meaning and importance of the cry, describing it as a weapon and a stance that symbolizes open hostility against those whom Allah has commanded to oppose. He explained how it aims to expose the criminal actions and conspiracies of the enemies of the ummah, rejecting any normalization with them and resisting them through all available means.

He referred to various Quranic verses that prohibit allegiance to the enemies of Allah and Islam, represented today by the tyrants of the era-America, Israel, and their allies. Al-Hadrami pointed out that the cry initiated by martyr leader Hussein Badreddin Al-Houthi is not just a slogan, but a call to action, transforming the cry into practical steps through mobilization, rallies, preparation to confront the enemies, and supporting the Quran, the causes, and the sanctities of the ummah. He stressed the comprehensive boycott of the enemies on all political, economic, cultural, and media levels.

The Chairman of the Public Roads and Bridges Corporation described the cry as a vision of jihad, sacrifice, and resistance, an active response to Allah and His Messenger, and a covenant of dignity and honor. The event, attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Corporation, Engineer Amiruddin Al-Houthi, and other leaders and employees of the Corporation, also featured a speech by Hamid Rizq, Director of Political Programs at Al-Masirah Channel. Rizq discussed the role of the Corporation in the field of construction and development, equating its significance to that of the military front.

He noted that the enemies of the ummah, upon failing militarily, often resort to threats against vital infrastructure such as roads and bridges, which are of strategic importance to nations. He referenced the Israeli destruction of bridges in southern Lebanon and ongoing threats from former U.S. President Trump against Iranian infrastructure. Rizq further emphasized the need to overcome weakness and fear, enabling people to move forward with strength in life. This, he said, is reflected in the cry as a stance against the impending dangers facing the nation.

He also highlighted the remarkable stance of the Yemeni people, who, under wise leadership, stood in direct opposition to the forces of evil and arrogance, including America and Israel. Yemen has supported and aided its brothers in Gaza, Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran. Rizq concluded by noting that these brave stances reflect the awareness of the Yemeni people, who understand the grave danger threatening the entire ummah. In contrast, many Arab and Islamic countries remained passive spectators as Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran faced aggressive wars, failing to recognize the collective danger that will affect everyone in the region.
