Raymah: Cultural evenings were held in the Al-Jabin and Mazhar districts of Rimah Governorate to commemorate the Battle of Badr, under the slogan "The Day of Distinction: Strengthening Faith-Based Identity and Continuing the Path of General Mobilization."
According to Yemen News Agency, the governorate's mobilization official, Muhammad Al-Nahari, at the event in the governorate's capital, emphasized the importance of drawing lessons from pivotal moments in Islamic history. He urged a sincere return to Allah during this holy month, especially in light of the current challenges facing the Muslim world. Al-Nahari highlighted the historical significance of the victory of the oppressed in the Battle of Badr and its connection to Imam Ali (peace be upon him), underlining the need to follow the path of the martyr of the mihrab and strengthen resilience against global tyranny and arrogance.
The evening featured speeches addressing the repercussions of American-Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the importance of reinforcing faith-based identity and Quranic culture to confront the nation's adversaries. Traditional religious chants were performed, and the event was attended by the Directorate's Mobilization Officer, Radwan al-Hadidi, along with executive office directors, sheikhs, dignitaries, and social figures.
In the Mazhar Directorate, Abdullah Yusuf, the Secretary-General of the Local Council, emphasized learning from the Battle of Badr to tackle current challenges, labeling it as a pivotal moment in Islamic history that represents the victory of the oppressed over tyranny. Yusuf noted the systematic aggression facing the nations of the Resistance Axis, highlighting attacks on Iran, Lebanon, Gaza, and Yemen as attempts to weaken the will and resilience of free peoples.
Yusuf urged for Islamic unity and strengthening of faith-based identity to confront these challenges, defend holy sites, and protect the oppressed. An evening gathering took place in the western district of Al-Jabin, attended by the governorate's media office director, Khalid Al-Jama'i, and other community figures. Speeches during the event emphasized utilizing the holy month's days and nights to seek divine guidance, draw closer to Allah through prayer and worship, and assert that jihad in the path of Allah is the sole route to success and victory over the nation's enemies.
In the Khadhm area within the same district, with the presence of the deputy mobilization officer, Mahdi Al-Khadhmi, and local dignitaries, speeches stressed the need to bolster resilience, embrace the culture of jihad and sacrifice, and champion the oppressed. The call for the payment of zakat (alms), raising community awareness of its importance, and reinforcing faith-based identity and Quranic culture during the remainder of the holy month was also emphasized.
