Sana'a: The General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families in Ibb initiated the distribution of Ramadan food baskets to the families of martyrs and missing persons, reaching 4,000 families. During the launch, Governor Abdulwahid Salah highlighted that this initiative serves as a token of appreciation for the sacrifices made by the martyrs for their faith, nation, and dignity. He reaffirmed the commitment to uphold the legacy of the martyrs, safeguard their sacrifices, and persevere amid challenges.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Salah acknowledged that the nation's pride, stability, and security are owed to the martyrs' sacrifices in defending the country from tyrants and oppressors. He urged businessmen and citizens to enhance their charitable efforts during Ramadan, supporting the poor, orphans, and martyrs' families. The governor also assured that the local leadership in Ibb is dedicated to expanding support programs for these families, in coordination with the General Authority, to alleviate their suffering and honor their sacrifices. He emphasized that serving these families is a national and moral duty.
Abdulfattah Glab, the General Mobilization official in the province, stated that the food baskets symbolize gratitude for the martyrs' role in securing the country's freedom and independence, noting that no material gift can truly repay their sacrifices. Mohamed al-Masawi, Director of the Martyrs' Families Authority in Ibb, detailed that 4,000 food baskets will be distributed across various districts. In-kind distributions will occur in al-Dhahir and al-Mashanah districts, while cash vouchers will be provided to families in other areas.
