Raymah: The General Authority for Zakat office in Raymah governorate organized a workshop on Saturday for employees in the Banking and Awareness departments. The workshop aimed to equip 17 employees and specialists from the two departments at the Authority's office and its branches in the districts with knowledge and expertise to enhance integrated work and improve zakat awareness efforts.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the workshop, Shura Council member Ahmed al-Nahari emphasized its importance in providing participants with expertise in zakat work and raising community awareness of the importance of zakat. For his part, Deputy Governor Fahd al-Harsi pointed to the importance of organizing cultural and administrative training courses and workshops to contribute to developing awareness-raising performance in zakat work.
Ali al-Nahari, the director of the Authority's office in the governorate, and his deputy, Ali al-Waiq, explained that the workshop comes as part of a series of workshops and courses that the office is keen to organize in order to improve zakat work and provide employees with skills and experiences in various aspects that serve zakat work.
