Raymah: Raymah Police issued a clarification statement regarding the circumstances surrounding the death of "Saleh Ahmed Hantous" on Tuesday, Muharram 6, 1447 AH (July 3, 2025 AD), during an armed confrontation with security forces in the As-Salafiyah District.
According to Yemen News Agency, the statement explained that "Hantous" was engaged in activities that targeted the security and stability of the governorate. He was involved in calling for chaos and rebellion and rejected the positions of the Yemeni state and people in support of the Palestinian cause. Additionally, Hantous adopted positions in favor of what the police described as the American-Zionist aggression against the country.
