Madrid: Real Madrid announced on Thursday the appointment of Portuguese coach Jos© Mourinho as head coach of the first team on a three-season contract until 30 June 2029, replacing lvaro Arbeloa. In a statement, the club said the decision was approved by the board chaired by Florentino P©rez.

According to Yemen News Agency, Mourinho will officially join on 13 July, when pre-season preparations begin. He previously managed Real Madrid from 2010 to 2013.
