Amran: The Public Works Sector and local authorities in Amran City have successfully removed an illegal construction in the Al-Dhobar area.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Director General of Amran District, Abdulrahman Al-Imad, was present to inspect the removal operations. The operations involved demolishing an old, randomly built residential house that had been in violation of the city's master plan for over thirty years. This structure was located in Al-Dhobar Market on the main street.
Engineer Ammar Al-Badawi, Director of the Public Works Office, provided a briefing to Al-Imad on the removal work. He emphasized its importance in reducing congestion, improving traffic flow, and widening the road that connects the governorates of Amran, Sa'ada, and Sana'a.
The district director expressed appreciation for the efforts made and acknowledged the cooperation of the homeowner in removing the violation to support the public interest. He also noted that the local authority, in collaboration with relevant entities, plans to rehabilitate the street.
