Sana'a: A workshop on crop mapping and its role in maximizing the utilization of land resources in the governorates of Sa'dah, Al-Jawf, Hajjah, and Sana'a emphasized the importance of updating climate data and expanding the network of meteorological stations.
According to Yemen News Agency, the three-day workshop, organized by the General Authority for Agricultural Research and Extension, represented by the Renewable Natural Resources Research Center, stressed the need to continue studying soil fertility, land suitability, and crop composition. Participants called for an increase in the number of samples taken from the districts to be studied so that agricultural lands are more representative of those districts not yet surveyed.
