Sanaa: Researcher Fahd Hasan Dahmash received on Sunday a master's degree with distinction from the Yemeni Academy for Graduate Studies for his thesis on the role of electronic payment and collection systems in enhancing tax revenues.
According to Yemen News Agency, the thesis, titled 'The Role of Electronic Payment and Collection Systems in Developing Tax Revenues - An Applied Study on the Yemeni Tax Authority,' examined how modern digital mechanisms can boost efficiency and strengthen public finance.
The discussion and evaluation committee, chaired by Dr. Ahmed al-Shami with Dr. Abdulatif Ayed and Dr. Jamal Al-Kumaim as members, praised Dahmash's efforts, findings, and recommendations on improving Yemen's tax collection through electronic systems.
