Dhamar: Tribal and official efforts in Dhamar Governorate successfully resolved a seven-year-old murder case today involving the Al-Sadah family in Ubairq village, Mifa'ah 'Anss District. During a tribal meeting led by Advisor to the Supreme Political Council Sheikh Mohammed Hussein Al-Maqdashi, along with tribal elders and dignitaries, the heirs of the victim, Abdulrahman Salah Al-Sadah, announced their pardon of the perpetrator, Mahmoud Saleh Al-Sadah, for the sake of Allah and in honor of all who contributed to resolving the case.
According to Yemen News Agency, Sheikh Al-Maqdashi praised the heirs' stance in rising above grievances and granting forgiveness to please Allah, and commended the efforts of all involved in settling the case. He noted that forgiveness when one has the power to retaliate is a hallmark of the noble, reflecting the elevated nature of the human soul. He called for emulation of the heirs' example of tolerance, prioritizing brotherhood, and reuniting family members.
Sheikh Al-Maqdashi emphasized that this stance reflects the directives of the Revolution Leader and President of the Supreme Political Council to promote reconciliation and forgiveness, resolve murder and vendetta cases, and unite ranks against external threats. He stressed the importance of preserving virtuous traditions in mediating disputes, rejecting conflicts, and addressing societal issues peacefully and fraternally, urging the strengthening of brotherhood and collaborative efforts to enhance security and social peace.
The attending tribal elders, for their part, valued the heirs' decision to forgive for the sake of Allah, which embodies the values of tolerance and the authentic heritage of the Yemeni tribe.
