Sana'a: The third round of the Deaf Youth Football Promotional Championship, centered around the 'Martyrs on the Road to Qud' Cup, concluded today in Sana'a. This event is organized by the General Union for the Deaf Sports and is aimed at promoting sports among the youth with hearing impairments.
According to Yemen News Agency, the championship will run until November 13 in a tribute to the Martyr's Annual Anniversary (1447 AH). It features 78 players who are divided into eight teams across two groups. These teams come from various institutions, including the Deaf Club in the Capital Secretariat, the Deaf Association, and the Al-Mustaqbal and Al-Amal schools.
In the latest round of matches, the Deaf and Mute Care and Rehabilitation Association team in the Capital Secretariat emerged victorious against the Deaf Club team with a score of 5-1. Meanwhile, Al-Amal School for the Deaf in Mathbah narrowly defeated Al-Mustaqbal School for the Deaf with a score of 3-2.
Following these results, the current group standings position the Secretariat Association Team at the top, followed by Al-Amal School Team, Al-Mustaqbal School Team, and the Secretariat Deaf Club Team. The championship's final match is set to take place next Thursday afternoon, where The Secretariat Association Team will face off against Al-Amal School Team.
