Al-bayda: The Tax Office, Social Affairs and Labor Office, along with the real estate and qat tax branches in Al-Bayda province, organized a speech event on Wednesday to commemorate the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's birthday. The gathering was attended by Deputy Governors Abdullah Al-Jamali, Saleh Al-Mansouri, and Mohammed Al-Humaqani, emphasizing the significance of the occasion.
According to Yemen News Agency, Mobilization Committee member Mohammed Al-Hakim addressed the attendees, underscoring the importance of celebrating the Prophet's birth as a sign of reverence and acknowledgment of his profound influence on people's hearts. Al-Hakim highlighted the historical support of Yemenis for the Prophet's message since the early days of Islam. He urged the Muslim community to return sincerely to the teachings of God and His Prophet to foster a community dedicated to spreading goodness worldwide, rather than relying on adversaries.
Tax Office Director Hafez Al-Kabsi remarked that celebrating the Prophet's birthday reinforces the faith-based identity of the Muslim nation, particularly amidst challenges to its identity and connection to the final Prophet. He described the occasion as a major religious event, deserving of attention through honoring the Prophet's life, virtues, and struggles against tyrants and oppressors.
In addition, Yemeni Scholars Association member Salem Abu Qais viewed the Prophet's birthday as an opportunity to strengthen Yemeni unity in the face of aggression and siege. He emphasized the importance of reclaiming rights, ending occupation, and learning from the Prophet's life about steadfastness in supporting the oppressed and resisting aggressors.
