Sana'a: The Deputy Mayor of the Capital Secretariat for Education and Youth Sector, Mohammed Al-Banous, inspected the activities of the summer courses in Shu'ub District. Al-Banous reviewed the progress of education, programs, and activities at the Martyr Taha Hamid Al-Din Center and Imam Al-Qasim bin Ibrahim Al-Rassi (Model) Center, as well as their branch at Al-Nahda School.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Banous received briefings from center directors Abdulalim Al-Ameer and Zaid Shaim about the programs offered, which include Qur'an education, religious and cultural studies, and skill-based activities. The briefings also highlighted the essential needs required to support these courses.
Al-Banous underscored the importance of the summer courses for developing students' abilities and skills, broadening their knowledge, and correcting misconceptions. He praised the educational and administrative staff for their efforts in overseeing these programs.
Meanwhile, Deputy Mayor for Local Authority Affairs, Abdul Latif Al-Amri, along with Assistant Deputies Eng. Abdullah Rawiya, Abdullah Al-Hajri, and Al-Tahrir District Director, Naji Al-Shay'ani, reviewed summer activities and programs at Imam Zaid bin Ali School in Al-Tahrir District. They assessed the performance and programs offered to students, which focus on Qur'an education, Qur'anic culture, and skill-based and sports activities.
During their visit, officials commended the educational and administrative staff, noting the level of organization and student engagement at Imam Zaid School. They emphasized the significance of summer courses in reinforcing faith-based identity and Qur'anic culture, while protecting youth from negative influences. Students were encouraged to seize this opportunity for beneficial knowledge and to strive to be constructive community members.
