Revolution Leader Calls for Million-Man March in Sana’a to Commemorate International Quds Day

Sana'a: The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, has urged the people of Yemen to join a million-man march in the capital, Sana'a, and the governorates to mark International Quds Day.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Leader made this call during a speech on the occasion of International Quds Day. He encouraged the people, stating, "I call upon our dear people to come out tomorrow, God willing, to commemorate International Quds Day, and let the turnout be great and honorable." He emphasized the significance of the march, describing it as a demonstration of the Yemeni people's commitment to the cause.

The Leader highlighted the million-man march as a form of jihad and a demonstration of devotion during these significant days. He stated that the Yemeni people are among the most dedicated in observing International Quds Day, reflecting their faith and spirit. The event, held on the last Friday of Ramadan, serves as a reminder of the Islamic community's responsibility towards the major cause of the era.

He further explained that Quds Day is a reminder for the nation to address the Zionist Jewish threat that occupies Palestine, Jerusalem, and other Arab territories. The occasion is meant to awaken the community to fulfill its duties and protect itself from these dangers.

The Leader reiterated the centrality of the Palestinian cause, reaffirming the religious and moral duty to support the Palestinian people and protect holy sites, including Al-Aqsa Mosque. He also emphasized the stance of opposition towards the Zionist Jewish enemy and its plans against the Islamic nation.
