Sana'a: The Revolution Leader, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, has urged the Yemeni populace to join a massive rally aimed at drawing two million participants in the capital Sana'a and other governorates. This demonstration, set for tomorrow, Friday, is intended to express solidarity with the Palestinian people and their cause, focusing on support for Gaza.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Leader emphasized that the upcoming rally symbolizes the faith and loyalty inherent in the Yemeni people. He quoted the Noble Prophet, noting that Yemen's identity is intertwined with faith and wisdom, reflecting the values of courage, honor, and pride. He characterized last week's rally as a significant event, featuring over 1,356 marches, sit-ins, and demonstrations.
The Leader further highlighted various official and grassroots activities, including student demonstrations in support of Gaza. He pointed out the large-scale participation in rallies at Sana'a University, Hodeidah University, and several private universities, as well as vocational and technical institutes. He commended these gatherings for their impressive turnout and support.
The participation of students and educators from institutions in Ibb, Amran, and Al-Mahwit was also praised. The Leader described their involvement as a notable example of the Yemeni people's unified stance across different sectors, including official, popular, and military domains.
