Sanaa: The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, has called for a unified effort among Yemeni citizens, both officially and popularly, to address the challenges posed by enemies targeting the nation.
According to Yemen News Agency, in a statement delivered on the occasion of the new Hijri year, "The Prophet's Hijra" 1448 AH, Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized the need for cooperation to tackle the comprehensive threats that have emerged. He outlined the issues faced by Yemen, including foreign occupation, control over the nation's oil and gas resources, violations of sovereignty, an economic blockade, and the mobilization of mercenaries aimed at destabilizing Yemeni society. The aggression, he noted, is orchestrated under the supervision of the United States and executed by Saudi Arabia.
Sayyed al-Houthi stressed the importance of collective efforts, seeking divine assistance, and striving to end foreign aggression and occupation. He urged the nation to work toward achieving independence and self-sufficiency, allowing Yemen to benefit from its resources and live with dignity, free from external interference.
The leader reiterated his stance against what he termed the enemies of Islam and humanity, particularly highlighting the actions of Zionist Jews and their Western supporters, including America and Israel. He condemned offenses against Islamic sanctities and reiterated Yemen's commitment to resisting any escalation by these forces.
Additionally, Sayyed al-Houthi congratulated the Islamic Republic of Iran for its perceived victory over America and Israel and reaffirmed Yemen's readiness to respond to any developments in the region that threaten Islamic nations.
He concluded by urging all to join the axis of jihad and resistance, advocating for liberation from the influence of Islam's adversaries, who he claimed harbor ill intentions toward the Islamic world.
