Women’s Authority in Amran Holds Rally Supporting Mecca

Amran: The General Women's Cultural Authority in Amran Governorate organized a large rally on Tuesday in support of Islamic holy sites and to condemn insults directed at Mecca by Donald Trump. Participants voiced their disapproval of actions by America and Israel, specifically denouncing insults to the Holy Kaaba.

According to Yemen News Agency, participants highlighted the Holy Kaaba as a symbol of unity for the Muslim Ummah, emphasizing that any insult to it is an affront to all Muslims. They called for a unified response to these acts, stressing the significant consequences of neglecting to defend the holy sites.

The rally included messages of congratulations to the Islamic Republic of Iran for its perceived victory against American and Zionist efforts, seen as a thwarting of plans to impose regional dominance. The participants reiterated their opposition to ongoing insults by global Zionism and its allies against Islamic sacred sites and symbols, referencing recent statements by Trump against Mecca.

The participants expressed concern that these insults are intended to undermine the sanctity of Islam's religious symbols and to disconnect Muslims from their spiritual sources. They warned that inaction and silence could lead to further offenses and emphasized the importance of responding to prevent divine repercussions. They also linked the silence of the Muslim community to the encouragement of continued provocations, pointing to recent setbacks faced by Israel in conflicts with Iran and Lebanon.
