Sana'a: The Revolutionary Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, has reiterated Yemen's unequivocal stance against what he terms as American and Israeli aggression targeting Yemen, the Islamic Republic, and the Muslim Iranian populace. In a speech marking the anniversary of the 'Al-Sarkah in the Arrogant Face,' he emphasized Yemen's non-neutral position in this conflict.
According to Yemen News Agency, during his address, Sayyed Abdulmalik highlighted the significance of the 'Al-Sarkah in the Face of the Arrogant' as a milestone in the practical implementation of the Qur'anic project. He explained that this slogan signifies a transition from stagnation to action, encouraging a faith-based mobilization and practical response against perceived threats to the Islamic nation.
The leader traced the origins of the slogan back to a lecture by the movement's founder, Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, at a school in Sa'ada Governorate in 2002. He described it as a pivotal occasion for raising awareness and reinforcing the stance of truth against tyranny and arrogance, asserting that the slogan holds both spiritual and real-world value in confronting current global challenges.
Sayyed Abdulmalik addressed the escalation of aggression by what he described as forces of disbelief and tyranny, marking a dangerous stage in history. He criticized the deceptive narratives of 'Changing the Middle East' and 'counterterrorism,' labeling them as false pretexts for aggression. He condemned the loyalty of certain Islamic regimes to these narratives, urging a general mobilization to oppose such alignment.
The speech also underscored the importance of jihad and action grounded in responsibility as a means of rejecting submission. Despite the limited embrace of this stance, Sayyed Abdulmalik emphasized its significant value in the scale of faith and ethics, as opposed to the prevalent defeatism and despair.
