Head of Zakat Authority Launches Activation of Electronic Bond for Zakat Resources System in Capital Sanaa

Sanaa: The head of the General Authority for Zakat, Sheikh Shamsan Abu Nashatan, launched today the activation of the electronic bond for collecting zakat resources in the authority's office in the Capital Secretariat. During the launch, the head of the authority affirmed the importance of this step, which comes within the authority's directions to regulate and unify zakat collection procedures through an integrated electronic system, contributing to improving performance and facilitating collection operations.

According to Yemen News Agency, the activation of the electronic bond is viewed as an important step towards developing the zakat work system and enhancing the level of transparency and discipline in collection operations. For his part, the Deputy Head of the Authority for Zakat Resources, Akram Mufaddal, explained that the system will help control the collection process in various authority offices and its branches in the districts by providing accurate and direct data on the daily proceeds, which enhances the efficiency of monitoring and follow-up.

In turn, the Director of the Authority's Office in the Capital Secretariat, Mohammed Al-Alfi, pointed out that work with paper bonds will be stopped, with the electronic bond adopted as the basic option for collection, which will contribute to improving the accuracy of taxpayers' data due to its direct connection to the system.
