Sanaa: The Revolutionary Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, has announced Yemen's renewed support for the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Iranian Muslim people in the face of what he describes as American and Israeli aggression. In a Ramadan lecture marking the anniversary of the Battle of Badr, al-Houthi addressed the developments of the U.S.-Israeli aggression against Iran, asserting that Yemen is prepared for escalation and military action whenever necessary, viewing the conflict as a battle for the entire Islamic community.
According to Yemen News Agency, al-Houthi emphasized that the current anniversary of the Battle of Badr coincides with a crucial confrontation with the "tyrants of the age," specifically the United States and Israel, who he accuses of targeting the Islamic nation. He highlighted ongoing aggressions across the region, from Palestine to Lebanon and Syria, including actions against Yemen and Iran. Al-Houthi called the anniversary of the Battle of Badr a historic milestone that inspires the nation amidst current dangers.
Al-Houthi criticized diplomatic efforts and reliance on the United Nations, suggesting that these approaches have failed to establish truth or defeat falsehood against their enemies' objectives. He dismissed talks of cooperation and global stability as illusions, stressing that Israel and global powers disregard international law and humanitarian norms. He accused these entities of attempting to control the Islamic nation and exploit its resources.
He cited the crimes in Gaza as evidence of Zionist aggression and accused the enemies of misleading the nation about its loyalties. Al-Houthi reiterated that the primary adversaries are the global Zionist movement, the United States, and Israel. He claimed these forces aim to humiliate and occupy Muslim lands while exploiting their resources.
Al-Houthi also referred to the 'Epstein scandal' as indicative of Zionist influence, alleging that U.S. and Israeli leaders aim to reshape the Middle East into a 'Greater Israel.' He accused Israel of imposing unjust decisions and replacing divine guidance with Israeli dictates.
The Revolutionary Leader called on the Muslim nation to support the Iranian people, praising their role in strengthening the Islamic nation. He criticized many Arab and Islamic governments for their inaction and accused some of aiding Israel by intercepting missiles and drones. Al-Houthi warned that Arab regimes betraying Islam will face disgrace and that U.S. bases in Arab countries support Israeli aggression.
He concluded by urging Yemenis to participate in mass demonstrations commemorating the Battle of Badr, reaffirming their commitment to opposing American and Israeli actions. Al-Houthi expressed confidence in the eventual downfall of the 'Zionist entity' and encouraged a strong Yemeni turnout to demonstrate solidarity with the Islamic cause.
