Rice Harvest Launched in Al-Maghraba District, Hajjah

Al-maghraba: The harvest of rice crops has been launched in Al-Maghraba District of Hajjah Governorate. During the launch, District Director Ali Kamil and Mobilization Official Mohammed Al-Durra emphasized that the rice crop was cultivated during the past period with the aim of improving farmers' income.

According to Yemen News Agency, more than seven tons of rice have been harvested, affirming that the coming period will witness an expansion in rice cultivation. Kamil and Al-Durra praised farmers' interest in growing rice and the role of the Al-Maghraba Cooperative Association in this regard.

For his part, Secretary of the Al-Maghraba Cooperative Association, Jaber Al-Rada'i, highlighted the association's commitment to supporting farmers, motivating and encouraging them to grow rice and other crops for which the district is known, in order to improve income sources and ease their suffering amid the consequences of the aggression and blockade.
