Sana'a: A local authority of Mahweet province conducted a field visit on Thursday to inspect the surveying and expansion of the Al-Mutlal-Tanoub-Bayt Al-Asmi road and the construction of the Kawkab and Ma'bar roads in Al-Bashari area.
According to Yemen News Agency, the visit included a joint development team from the local authority in Al-Rajm district of Mahweet province and the Al-Rajm Multipurpose Cooperative Society. The completed work on the Al-Mutlal-Tanoub-Bayt Al-Asmi road covers 2.15 kilometers and is expected to benefit around 800 residents. The project is supported by the Al-Rajm Cooperative Society and funded by the Central Emergency Intervention Unit through the provision of diesel for road construction and expansion.
The team also reviewed local needs for establishing a coffee production group and identifying beekeepers as part of value-chain development projects, while praising community efforts to improve roads, connect farms to markets, facilitate residents' movement and support agricultural activities.
