Doha: Russia's gold reserves rose to a record level of $300 billion in November, according to data from the Central Bank. According to Yemen News Agency, the share of gold in Russia's assets increased from 41.3% to 42.3% during the month. This is the highest level since February 1995, when the precious metal's share was 43.9%. At that time, its value did not exceed $5.5 billion. By the morning of December 1, Russia's international reserves had risen to $734.6 billion, compared to $725.8 billion on November 1. Gold investments increased by 3.6% by the end of autumn, reaching a record $310.7 billion. This marks the fourth consecutive month that the figure has reached its highest level. As for other precious metals, spot silver fell 0.1% to $51.36, platinum dropped 1% to $1,538, and palladium decreased 1.1% to $1,382.24.
