Sa'ada: Governor Mohammed Awad conducted an inspection of the educational process at Bilal bin Rabah Basic and Secondary School for Boys and Sumaya Basic School for Girls, both located in the Al-Azqoul area of the Sahar District. During his visit, he assessed the schools' educational performance, student activities, and attendance, while also identifying the need for more teachers and educational supplies.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Awad emphasized the importance of enhancing efforts to monitor education and school activities. He highlighted the necessity of addressing the shortage of teaching staff to ensure consistent educational delivery. The district's education official reiterated the local authority's commitment to supporting the education sector. Efforts are underway to provide female teachers for Sumaya School, involve the community and parents' councils, and upgrade the school to include secondary education.
