Sa’ada Hosts Grand Scout Parade for Summer School Students

Sa'ada: The Sub-Committee for Summer Activities, Courses, and Public Mobilization in Sa'ada governorate recently organized a significant scout parade, drawing thousands of students from summer schools across the districts of Sa'ada, Sahar, al-Safra, and Majz. The event was graced by the presence of local officials, executive office directors, public mobilization leaders, and community members.

According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Mohammed Awad addressed the assembly, congratulating the students on their successful completion of the summer programs. He commended the organizers and teachers for their dedication in realizing the educational and cultural goals of the courses. The governor emphasized that the students would return to formal education enriched with knowledge, discipline, and Quranic values.

Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research for the Basic Education Sector Hadi Ammar also lauded the outcomes of the summer activities, acknowledging the pivotal role of teachers and staff in educating and guiding students. A student representative delivered a speech highlighting the summer schools as crucial platforms for cultural, educational, and skills development, which help participants enhance their awareness, discipline, and social responsibility.

Participants underscored the necessity of continuing such programs that support youth development and reinforce educational and moral values among younger generations.
