Sa'ada: The branch of the General Authority for the Care and Rehabilitation of Martyrs' Families and the Martyrs' Foundation in Sa'ada province has initiated a Ramadan food basket project, aiming to support 13,000 martyrs' families in preparation for the holy month.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the launch, governor Mohammed Awad acknowledged the efforts of the authority and the foundation in executing charitable projects designed to assist martyrs' families and ease their challenges. He highlighted that supporting martyrs' families is both a national and humanitarian obligation and affirmed the necessity of maintaining such initiatives, especially during Ramadan.
Abdullah Al-Kastban, director of the local branch, detailed that the project will cater to the families of martyrs and missing persons throughout all districts of the province. Cash distributions will be allocated to every district, while food baskets will be physically delivered to families in Sa'ada district. This will be done through a structured mechanism to ensure the smooth and consistent delivery to the intended beneficiaries.
