Dhamar Launches First Phase of Replacing Damaged Gas Cylinders

Dhamar: The Yemeni Gas Company initiated a program to replace damaged gas cylinders in Dhamar governorate, aiming to address risks linked to worn-out cylinders. The first phase targets 7,000 cylinders.

According to Yemen News Agency, Dhamar governor Mohammed al-Bukhaiti acknowledged the company's efforts in tackling the issue of damaged cylinders. He emphasized that this step is a solution to protect citizens and stabilize the gas market. He noted the stability in prices and material availability despite challenging conditions.

Acting Executive Director of the Yemeni Gas Company Yasser al-Wahidi stated that the program aligns with directives from the revolutionary and political leadership, along with the government of change and construction. This initiative addresses the problems stemming from cylinder deterioration due to prolonged lack of maintenance.

Engineer Nabil al-Mutawakel, Director of the company's Dhamar branch, mentioned that the cylinders will be distributed for free through designated centers in the city and various districts. This will follow an organized mechanism to ensure support reaches all citizens.

During the launch event, the governor honored the Acting Executive Director of the company for his efforts in resolving crises and enhancing community safety measures through cylinder maintenance programs.
