Sa'ada: The General Authority of the Republican Hospital in Sa'ada organized a ceremonial event on Thursday to commemorate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, the Authority's Chairman, Dr. Ismail Al-Warfi, highlighted the significance of this occasion as an annual opportunity for self-reflection, comparing one's conduct with that of the Prophet. He commented on the actions of those who fail to support the oppressed in Gaza, noting that such behavior contradicts the Prophet's teachings and serves the interests of adversaries.
In his address on behalf of the guests, Dr. Abdulrahim Al-Hamran, President of Sa'ada University, recounted significant episodes from the Prophet's life, focusing on his mission, preaching, and struggles. Dr. Al-Hamran drew comparisons between the Prophet's steadfastness in the face of tyranny and oppression and the current challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah, particularly under the influence of global powers. He praised Yemen for its active role while criticizing the passivity of most nations.
Dr. Al-Hamran urged widespread participation in commemorating the Prophet's birth, calling for support for the Quran and opposition to the adversaries of God and His Messenger.
The event saw attendance from Deputy Chairmen of the Republican Hospital Authority, Dr. Ali Al-Hamzi and Kamal Al-Houthi, as well as several directors of executive offices and hospital staff. The program included a poem, a nasheed performance, and traditional folk displays.
