Sana'a:The people of Sa'afan District in Sana'a Governorate convened an armed tribal rally on Thursday, expressing solidarity with Palestine and mobilizing against the Saudi enemy's aggression, blockade, and deceit. Under the slogan "March forth, whether lightly or heavily equipped," participants condemned the ongoing Saudi-led aggression, escalating hostilities, and blockade that they claim benefit American and Zionist interests.
According to Yemen News Agency, the rally declared a general mobilization and readiness to confront the aggression and blockade imposed on Yemen for 12 years. Participants condemned the atrocities committed against the Yemeni people, including women and children, and renewed their pledge to honor the memory of martyrs on the occasion of the annual Martyr's Anniversary. They emphasized their determination to resist tyrants and oppressors while affirming their commitment to defending sacred sites like Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
The rally was attended by officials including Deputy Governor Fares Al-Kahali and other district leaders. Participants stressed that their mobilization is part of a broader movement within Sana'a Governorate to confront escalation with escalation. They highlighted the importance of maintaining popular mobilization and supporting front lines with resources.
A statement from the rally affirmed Sa'afan District's readiness to participate in general mobilization, condemning the Saudi enemy's actions against civilians and the blockade intended to weaken Yemeni resolve on key national issues, especially the Palestinian cause. The statement expressed full support for the Armed Forces in resisting the blockade and aggression, relying on divine assistance and committing to follow leadership inspired by the Quran and the Armed Forces.
The statement pledged to uphold the strategic principle of "blockade for blockade and escalation for escalation," aiming to end foreign dominance and restore Yemeni rights. It also called on those misled to return to the national fold under the general presidential amnesty and cease actions that harm their own people.
Furthermore, the statement reaffirmed the district's commitment to defending Islamic holy sites and supporting Al-Aqsa Mosque, criticizing regimes that have normalized relations with Zionist groups. It called on Arab and Islamic peoples to take action against Saudi crimes in Yemen and lift the blockade, highlighting the ongoing suffering of Yemeni civilians.
