SABA Prepares for Implementation of 1447 AH Ramadan Program Guidelines


Sana’a: A meeting was held today at the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), led by Deputy Minister of Information Dr. Omar Al-Bakhiti, to discuss the preparations for implementing the 1447 AH Ramadan program guidelines. The meeting was attended by key figures including Chairman of the Board of Directors and Editor-in-Chief, Nasr Al-Din Amer, and Deputy Chairman of the Board for Financial and Commercial Affairs, Hamoud Al-Hashaf, along with the agency’s directors general.



According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting emphasized the role of SABA staff in providing media coverage of the Ramadan program’s implementation plans. The guidelines focus on strengthening faith during Ramadan by incorporating lectures from the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, which contain educational and spiritual lessons for self-purification.



During the meeting, Dr. Al-Bakhiti extended congratulations to the agency’s leadership and staff on the arrival of Ramadan. He highlighted the importance of such meetings for discussing media work plans, resolving difficulties, and overcoming challenges. He noted that integrated efforts and media vigilance are necessary to confront potential threats and expose enemy conspiracies.



Dr. Al-Bakhiti stressed the need for responsible action in dealing with the current realities imposed by foreign forces, particularly those led by America and Israel. He praised SABA’s success in showcasing Yemeni military capabilities, which contributed to expelling American forces from the region. He emphasized the importance of media confrontation to expose crimes and violations by the Israeli and American forces, especially in Palestine and Yemen.



He warned that the enemy uses media warfare to destabilize national unity, urging the media to confront disinformation campaigns and falsehoods. Despite limited resources, he praised SABA’s journalistic expertise in countering these campaigns through faith and teamwork, which helped stabilize the national currency.



Nasr Al-Din Amer expressed appreciation for Dr. Al-Bakhiti’s participation in the meeting on the first day of Ramadan. He highlighted the importance of these discussions for improving journalistic performance and services provided to media outlets.



Amer viewed Ramadan as an educational opportunity to enhance the agency’s professional, media, administrative, and technical performance. He stressed the activation of the Ramadan program plan and the significance of the Leader’s daily lectures. He commended the staff’s efforts to maintain stability and improve press services despite resource constraints.



The meeting participants reviewed directives issued by the Leader of the Revolution regarding Ramadan preparations and their key points for implementation.
