Sana'a: On the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, the Yemeni Saba News Agency has republished a significant letter addressed by Haniyeh to the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, originally sent on January 12, 2024.
According to Yemen News Agency, the letter expressed Haniyeh's gratitude and solidarity with al-Houthi for supporting the Battle of the Flood of Al-Aqsa through various military engagements, including the Battle of the Red Sea and the use of drones and missiles against Israeli targets. Haniyeh extended condolences to the Yemeni people for the loss of fifteen martyrs who fought in support of Gaza, acknowledging their sacrifice and awarding them posthumous honors.
The letter highlighted the ongoing solidarity between the Palestinian resistance and the Yemeni people against external aggressions, particularly those by American and British forces. Haniyeh emphasized the resilience of the resistance in Gaza and the support from regional forces such as Ansarullah and the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, which have hindered the Zionist entity's objectives in Gaza.
Haniyeh reaffirmed the resistance's commitment to unity across various fronts, including Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen, in the struggle for the liberation of Palestine.
