Sa'dah: Sa'dah Governor Mohammed Awad inaugurated the second phase of the Al-Hamzat Lake project in the Sahar district, at a cost of 38 million riyals. According to Yemen News Agency, Awad was briefed on the work to be carried out, which includes the construction of the lake's entrance. The lake boasts a storage capacity of over 120,000 cubic meters. This initiative is part of a series of projects implemented by the local branch of the General Authority for Water Resources aimed at replenishing the Sa'dah water basin. The project also seeks to address the water gap by balancing the rate of depletion with the annual recharge of the basin.
