Sana'a: The local authority and mobilization committee in Sa'fan District, Sana'a Governorate, organized a central cultural event on Saturday to commemorate the anniversary of the Prophet Mohammed's birth. The event took place at Jaafar bin Abi Talib School in Al-Rawna and was attended by several speakers who emphasized the importance of learning from the Prophet's life.

According to Yemen News Agency, cultural activist Abdullah Al-Hassabani discussed the values of justice, mercy, and solidarity as portrayed in the Prophet's teachings. The speakers urged the community to participate in Mawlid activities, particularly the major celebration planned for Tuesday, Rabi' Al-Awwal 12. Chants and poetry highlighted the occasion's significance during the event.

Following the cultural gathering, participants engaged in a protest against repeated acts of desecration against the Holy Quran and Islamic sanctities. They expressed support for the armed forces' strategy, advocating for reciprocal measures in response to blockades and escalations. A statement released called for a large turnout on Tuesday to demonstrate support for the Quran and encouraged adherence to event guidelines.

The statement also emphasized the need for unity, ongoing mobilization, and efforts to end the Saudi-led aggression, lift the blockade, and secure what it described as Yemen's rights. Additionally, a separate cultural evening occurred in Al-Hankah village in the Madoul area, focusing on the educational and spiritual aspects of the Mawlid, promoting unity and addressing national challenges.
