Raymah: Tribesmen from Salafiyah District in Raymah Governorate declared a tribal mobilization and general call to arms on Saturday in response to a call by revolution leader Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, affirming their readiness to end the aggression and lift the blockade on Yemen.
According to Yemen News Agency, during a large armed tribal gathering attended by local officials, mobilization leaders, tribal sheikhs, and dignitaries, participants pledged full preparedness to engage in what they described as the battle for liberation and independence, end the aggression, break the blockade, and reclaim all occupied Yemeni territories.
A statement issued at the gathering affirmed the readiness of Salafiyah's tribes to confront any escalation by what it described as the U.S.-Saudi aggression, with the aim of ending the war, breaking the blockade, expelling occupying forces, restoring the Yemeni people's rights, and recovering the country's looted resources.
The statement added that the tribes of Salafiyah, like other Yemeni tribes, were declaring general mobilization to expel foreign forces from Yemeni territory, achieve full independence, benefit from national resources, and secure freedom and dignity free from foreign interference.
It also announced comprehensive mobilization measures, including opening training centers for military mobilization courses and organizing various mobilization activities such as demonstrations, rallies, and military exercises. The statement reaffirmed support for the revolution leader to take what it described as the appropriate decisions in response to current developments.
The statement praised what it called the honorable and historic stance of the Yemeni people under Abdul-Malik al-Houthi's leadership in supporting the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and promoting the principle of the unity of fronts against the United States and Israel.
It concluded by calling on the Yemeni people to unite in confronting the occupation, liberating Yemeni territory, restoring national resources, achieving freedom and independence.
